Plastic Free Sheffield Central is a community campaign dedicated to minimising Sheffield’s contribution to the single-use plastic crisis. They are calling for local businesses and community groups to sign up to be Plastic-Free Champions and Plastic Free Allies.
Businesses – Register to become a Plastic Free Champion
Plastic Free Sheffield Central are looking to sign up SME businesses based in the Sheffield Central constituency to become an accredited Plastic Free Champion. Plastic Free Champions are businesses who have made three or more swaps to reduce single-use plastics from their business operations.
Plastic Free Sheffield Central have advice on swaps you can make, and why making the change is not only good for the planet, but good for your business too.

Are you a community group, church, community centre or charity based in the Sheffield Central constituency? Just like businesses, organisations such as community groups, charities, community centres, churches, libraries, museums, colleges and hospitals can also play a big part in reducing single-use plastic.
Become a Plastic Free Ally by pledging to:
– remove single-use plastic from their group / organisation (see this list for ideas)
– communicate their plastic free stance internally and externally
– support Plastic Free Sheffield Central and plastic-free initiatives locally
