Eco Church Celebration
Eco Church Celebration, Saturday 9th September, 11am-3pm, Sheffield Cathedral
An event of thanksgiving and celebration of the churches in the Diocese of Sheffield working to care for the Environment.
The day comprises an Eco Fair from 11am-2pm with eco stalls, children’s activities, workshops, space for prayer and reflection and more!
There will be activities for all ages, including music workshops from Steel City Choristers and a demonstration of sustainable flower arrangements by renowned local florist Jonathan Moseley.
The events ends with a service of thanksgiving led by the Rt. Revd. Dr Pete Wilcox, Bishop of Sheffield, from 2-3pm.
Individuals, groups and organisations from the local area will be taking part in the event and those of all faiths and none are warmly welcomed.
